Oreo's Walking on a Leash!

Hey, everybody! It's Oreo here again. You might be interested to know about a new milestone that I've achieved since I introduced myself. My master has seen fit to have me go outside of the house. The catch is that I have to wear a leash and a harness almost every time I'm out. Not gonna lie to y'all, I enjoy being outside so much that I don't mind.

It's so nice being outside and taking in the fresh air. So many interesting creatures to smell or chase around. I love climbing a wall behind this mini-house. I wish I could be outside more often. I relay that to my human quite frequently. I'm told that I can't be outside all the time, but there's so much I want to explore. I see all this grass and all these birds flying beyond this fence. All I want to do is see the world for myself.

When I'm not outside though, I'll keep myself occupied from time to time. I'll poke around in the garage and chase around any little bugs I come across. I'll play with my master and the magical wands with the birds and squeaking mice attached. My latest toys include but aren't limited to a hunting motor ball of some sort. It's cool and all that I suppose. It's not exactly the same as hunting the bird or the mouse. But it shines bright at night.

My latest discovery however is what the humans refer to as catnip. I don't know what it is about this pouch of goodness that gets me all psyched up, but I want to keep playing with it. It lifts my spirits in more ways than one. My master doesn't allow me to access it all the time. I wonder if it's because the catnip gave him a heart attack or something watching me play on a new level. Either way, more for me when I get my claws on it.

I'm still digging my setup almost 4 months after I first arrived here. I'm very excited to get out and about more often. Maybe I explore more outside of the backyard? My master is cautious about raising my hopes. But perhaps if I play my cards right and amp up my cute meowing, my master will be compelled to comply with my wishes.
