I Got the Nintendo Switch 2!

Well, if you read the title, then it's indeed true. I was amongst the lucky few that was able to secure a Nintendo Switch 2 console on launch day, even without a pre-order. I feel for whomever hasn't been able to get this console because of scalpers and bots online. It's miraculous that I had an easier time securing this console after having to wait a month when the PS5 launched to receive my own. To be fair though, there's been controversy and contempt from hardcore Nintendo fans over issues with the pricing of the console and its games.
Obviously, there's water under the bridge that needs to be addressed. I'll plan a separate article on my impressions of the console itself so far at launch, and how it'll continue to grow in the future. Gaming wise, before anything related to Nintendo Switch 2, my first priority is "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33". Gallons of praise for this title across the board. It deserves to be covered at the very least by the end of this month, completed or not. After that, as shown by the photo, "Mario Kart World" will be the first game covered on this console.
I expect "Donkey Kong Bonanza" will be the next big exclusive for the system in mid-July. I might squeeze in a few more reviews for Nintendo Switch 2 launch games, even if they are versions of games that existed before the console was even a thing. Then again, the writing fatigue might intervene and I just stick to one to two games at a time. It's a shame the "physical edition" of "Split Fiction" on the Switch 2 just offers a code as opposed to a cartridge. Otherwise, I'd offer to catch up on that. Maybe I still will even on PS5 a couple months late.
So this is just a heads-up to stay tuned for articles related to Nintendo Switch 2 and its subsequent library of games on this site. In the meantime, there's plenty to keep me busy, especially in regards to backwards compatibility with original Switch titles. Here's to more gaming related content down the line in the future, starting with a review of "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" due out soon. Until then, this is Chris Mizerak, over and out. Cheers!
