How do you do, ladies and gentlemen. This is Chris Mizerak. Hope you're 2025 is either off to a good start or you're surviving the best you can at least. If it's the latter, I don't blame you. The feed on social media is too much toxicity and negativity to handle right now. It's enough to make one avoid going on the Internet altogether. Hell, if it wasn’t for this site or Oreo's growing audience, I'd stay away from it as well. Anyways, wishing everyone good health for the new year thus far. Here's a photo of Oreo next to her Lego counterpart to cheer you up.

If you're reading this, that also means that my two big lists for my favorite TV shows and video games has been delayed once again. This should hopefully be the last delay I'll have with these lists. To make sure it's the last, expect these lists to be out no later than the following dates:
Top 10 TV Shows - February to mid-May
Top 30 Video Games - March to mid-August
I may even extend the video game list number from 30 to 50 to make up for the delay. Expect both lists to be released in two parts, just like the Top 50 Films list.
With the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 a few weeks back, I also plan on covering games for said console when it releases sometime this year. It's currently predicted to release in the summer time frame. If "Grand Theft Auto VI" stays on track for its release in the fall, expect coverage there as well. Starting with "Sid Meier's Civilization VII" this February, count on more video game coverage this year all around. In the meantime, plenty of reviews on new film releases both this year and for awards season are the main priority now.
An occasional deviation from that course will be sprinkled every now and then, such as my story on Cheddar: a cat that I almost adopted. So keep staying tuned to The Film Pub for further articles of that sort as well as reviews on new releases. As for anyone who's discouraged about how things are going, remember that you're not alone. Here at The Film Pub, we're here to listen. If we judge, we'll do it in a way that's fair and keeps the options open. Until next time, this is Chris Mizerak, over and out. To close this off, here's Oreo again with her Lego self.
