How do you do, ladies and gentlemen. This is Chris Mizerak. This article won't be the type you're used to getting on The Film Pub thus far. There's a bunch of announcements to make, so you'll get a rough idea of what to expect this November. To start, the parent website of The Film Pub, aka Wix.com, is in the process of changing its website editing software. Should you encounter any technical difficulties or other such issues with the site, that's why. I've already updated my information, but in case any issues arise, be prepared.
I'm also currently in the process of searching for a new TV to purchase. The TV that I currently own had suddenly stopped working. Oddly enough, there's still some audio coming out of it. As I look at the reviews for my TV for more information, I underwent what other reviewers experienced as well, where the picture just stopped showing anything. This is also referred to as "the black screen of death". That's why any game reviews I was currently working on have been postponed.
There's various behind the scenes situations being resolved outside of the site that explain why there isn't any content coming out. I'll still have articles posted on the site, but I can't guarantee a consistent frequency of articles at present. I appreciate everyone's patience on that front so far. In the meantime, here's what kind of articles you can expect in the coming month from The Film Pub. Hopefully, this will make up for a slow month.
This past September on my Facebook, I announced my favorite films, TV shows and video games lists would be out later this year. After I ran a poll with your votes, I announced the following: Top 50 Films - Halloween, Top 10 TV Shows - Thanksgiving, and Top 30 Video Games - Christmas. After careful reflection and consideration, I've decided to make a minor change to this plan. I'm revising the release dates to all three lists. Now is the time to mark your calendars:
Top 50 Films - 11/28/24
Top 10 TV Shows - 11/29/24
Top 30 Video Games - 11/30/24
From now to an eventful Thanksgiving weekend, there will be plenty of content to tide you over until then. This will range from traditional film reviews to some more unexpected articles that further expands The Film Pub's reach. Between working a part-time job to make ends meet and the various goals I wish to fulfill, I personally will be busy all month. The only thing I can say right now will all be in the next paragraph.
